Questions people ask
Is the cover letter builder free?
Yes — no sign-up, no watermark and no payment. Download as many letters as you like.
Do I need to make a resume first?
No, but it helps. If you have made a resume here, we use it to write your first draft and match its design. Otherwise just fill in your details.
Should I use “Yours sincerely” or “Yours faithfully”?
In the UK, use “Yours sincerely” when you know the person’s name and “Yours faithfully” when you start with “Dear Hiring Manager”. In the US and most other places, “Sincerely” or “Kind regards” is fine.
Is my information private?
Yes. Everything stays in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
